Mike, look at the Texas Handbook Online. There is information on Hinchie or Hinchia there as well as books on his old regiment, the Third Texas Cavalry. His life after the war as an attorney in Jefferson is pretty interesting as well. I'm interested in his connection to the W. P. Mabry family of Webster and Claiborne Parish, Louisiana.
