My great-grandfather was Nicolo Macaluso born circa 1856 in Caccamo, Palermo, Sicily. He married Guiseppa Guzzardo in Caccamo. The family eventually emigrated through Louisiana and settled around Donaldsonville for a while. They were coal miners and eventually travelled up to Coal City, IL and the Chicago area. I am searching to find out if he had any brothers or sisters whose families also emigrated to the US.
