I am trying to connect with anyone who is doing research on John McArthur father of Duncan McArthur (Gov of OH). I would love to have a copy of a letter referenced in 1999(letter from John written in 1803) that Marcia Brandle talked about in one of her postings. Just was contacted by another who also stated that there was a connection to the Farqhua surname. There is so much out there but it is very conflicting. My husband's line is connected to John's second marriage to a Mary Lyon. Together they had a son named John (b. 1786) and he married a Sarah Parrett/Parrott in Ross Co., OH. Most of the information I have on the family has been passed down nothing that I know of is verified. Will share what I have. Thanks. Sandy Epley dnsepley@home.com
