Connected by marriage to Baily and Pope families of Compton County. 7. 1811--John McAulay--investor in bank and turnpike company in Newburgh, Orange County (U.S.A.) 8. 1779--Lt. McAulay of New Hampshire killed in Indian country. 9. The Archibishop of Dublin Dr. Cobbe (1742-1765), his wife, Mrs Cobbe, and Mr and Mrs McAulay had dinner at Mrs Delaney's (nee Mary Granville's).
