In searching records of this parish, I found two baptismal
records:
1770 8 April Macauley Cathe Jesse Adair & Ann Stanton
Revd Wm Tisdall
1771 21 September Macaulay Cathe (no parents given)
[e on both Cathe is a superscript,so I think the
name is Catherine ]
I am searching for the parents of Jesse Adair and wonder if
this provides a clue - the Macaulay either a parent or
guardian? Any help appreciated.
