My Grandfather has always been a mystery please someone help me to find his birth details and parents etc.All I know is he was was born Vernon Donald McKay but he changed at at some point as he was a shifty character and probable bigamist.He married Violet May Collins in Mallala SA in 1933.They had one child Leo Donald McKaye born 1933.He went missing for years and my Nana divorced him in 1954.This is when she it reported she found out he had been married before.To whom I dont know.On his marriage certificate it name his father as Ernest Robert Mckay that is all I know.He was last seen working in a hotel in Port Adelaide in about 1965.If anyone can tell me anything about me I'd be most grateful.I cant research my tree until I discover his background.
