Minnie (?Mary A.) may have been from County Sutherland. Her husband, Lachlin Ross, came from Achriesgill, Sutherland. They may have known each other in Scotland but married in S.W. Ontario in approximately 1862. The Ross family immigrated to Ontario in 1848.
