I currently live in Dublin, Ireland. My family history traces my roots back to Ballymackey in Co Tipperary. I believe my family moved from there to Castleconnell, Co Limerick in the 18th century. Rebecca Mackey (born c.1885) who was the daughter of Michael Mackey and Elizabeth Lennon married a Johnson and they lived in Sydney, Australia where they owned the Gresham Hotel. Her brother Ferde moved to the USA. An Aunt (Mother Xaviour) spent almost all her life in Windsor Convent in Melbourne while an Uncle (Thomas) became a very prominent businessman Sheepfarmer)in Australia. No offspring from either of these siblings. Does anyone have any info on this family.
