David, I have transcribed records of Franklin Co. GA 1805-1850. I salute all the ones who transcribe these records for the benefit of the rest of us. Having said that, in these transcribed records it has his name as Jeremiah Chandler. I have not been able to find a Jeremiah Chandler but do have a Jedediah Chandler son of Shadrack Chandler b. ca. 1757 and Martha Bristow.

I believe but not positive that this is the Jedidiah Chandler who married Sarah Mackey. Do you know if this is the correct family?

I do have a Thomas Elias Mackey b. 1795 KY who married Sarah Murphree (Faust), b. May 17, 1796 Pendleton Dist. SC, her family moved to TN for a short period of time, before moving on to Blount Co., AL. She was married to William Faust who died bef. 1821 when she remarried to Thomas Elias Mackey. Some time after 1930 they moved to TX. Thomas died 1836, Robertson's Colony, Hill County, TX. Sarah then remarried to Thomas Jefferson Forsythe in Mar 6, 1859 TX. Sarah died 1871 Ellis Co., TX.

If you know whether there is a connection to your Mackeys would you plese let me know.
