Don't know if this helps but: Elizabeth Fossett (b. 15 Sep 1831, Glasgow, Scotland, d. 12 Oct 1920, Geary, OK) married Pierre Francois (Francis) Xavier Manigold (b. Jun 1820, Angeot (Enjas), France, d. 18 Jun 1870, Grand Traverse Co, Mich), on 3 Apr 1849 at Canfields house/Hotel, Champion, NY. Elizabeth was 2nd of 3 wives, and was divorced from Francis in 1854, in Hennesin, Ill. I have a lot of Civil War pension documentation on this contentious marriage/divorce. My great-grandmother was his 3rd wife. I don't have much else on FOSSETT except:
Elizabeth had 3 bro/sisters:
Issac H. (in Stout, Wahita Co. Okla July 1900)
Ellen (in Escanaba, MI, Oct 1900)
John (resident of Coldwell, Kans before death around 1900)
I believe Elizabeth and Francis were parents of 4 children, John Francis Peter Manigold (9 Jan 1855/Carthage City, NY-21 May 1935/Geary OK or Colorado Springs, El Paso, CO)
