Several Family Trees report that Cornelia Odell was the wife of Joshua Manning of Middlesex and that their daughters were Hannah, Dolly and Cornelia. These represent signicant errors based on a misinterpretation of the tombstones of Hannah Odell/Manning and Dolly Odell/Fitchit in the Fifth concession Cemetery. Hannah and Dolly were daughters of Joshua Scriver Odell, not Joshua Manning. Cornelia, b. 1841, was the daughter of Hannah Odell/Manning. Joshua Manning did not marry Cornelia Odell- she simply didn’t exist.
