Kevin,
I'm searching for a Margaret Mannion who married John Kelly in Ballaghaderreen in 1863. They had 9 kids there. This family then emigrated to Canada in 1883.
Margaret Ann Mannion was born in or around Ballaghaderreen and the Kelly family may have owned a quarry there. Story goes they grew up lnowing each other as both familis lived in or just outside of Ballaghaderreen. There was also a James Mannion who emigrated at the same time with his wife Mary, kids Bridget, James,etc.....that may have been Margaret's brother?
As we are both looking for Mannions from Ballaghaderreen, I hope some of this may sound familiar and hope you will get in touch.
