"There is a wealth of information on the Marble - Murdock family recorded in this Bible. There is a certificate of marriage and lists of mariages, births and deaths. Some of the pages with this information have been removed and replaced. They were folded and have separated at the folds. The writing can easily be read. There are many scraps of paper on which other records have been written. In an envelope there are newspaper clippings of obituaries, etc. The family kept poems by one of their pastors who had printed them for distribution. They were meant to be bible markers. There is a Funeral Coach List which gives the names of the clergy who would be riding to the church in the first coach or carriage, and a second and third list of the bearers and family who would be riding in ceretain a coach or surry"
