Hello Brian,
Jeremiah and Elizabeth are my ancestors through their son Robert Marjoram, convict Mangles (8), 1837 and his eldest son William, convict Mangles (8), 1837. I do not know if Jeremiah born 1775 came here, as I was under the impression he died at an early age. If you have concrete proof that Jeremiah snr, had parents John and Barbara, we would love to see it, as there are other names being considered. There are a number of folk, both here and in Suffolk all working on this family, both as family connections, and from an historical point of view. Are you connected through Robert's son Robert who emigrated here c. 1852?
I have a feeling I wrote to a lady with your surname some years ago, and from memory she lived somewhere in northern Victoria or southern NSW. I can't put my hand on the letter at this moment although it is here, but I was going to try and find it, as I have a bit more information for her, although not necessarily answering her question.
