William MARKSBURY b. 1790 d. 13 June 1835 m. 8 Sep 1810 Garrand CO., KY to Margaret "Peggy" PHILLIPS. They had 13 Children. William's parents were Samuel Marksbury III b. abt 1740 Amherst, Amherst Co., VA. d. 29 Dec 1812 m. 1764 Amherst Co., VA to Isabella "Eliz" OWENS. They had 10 children. Samuel's father was also an Samuel b. 1705 Someshire, England d. Nov 1761 wife unknown he had two children Samuel and Prudence. Samuel's father we are told was another Samuel b. abt 1680 in Someshire, England d. Nov 1745. I am looking for more inforamtion on these Samuels and their families.
