Simon Peter Mattice was my GG Grandfather. I have recntly found a marriage record of a Simon Matteese (Matice) and Agnes Stockton in Galena, Jo Daviess Co., Illinois 9/14/1854.This makes sense since Emma, their Daughter was born in Illinois in 1855. Their is also a land tax record in Galena of Simon Matice owning land in 1855.
What is your relation to Simon?
