I'm researching the James McAdam born abt 1824 in Scotland, and his wife Agnis b. abt 1833 also in Scotland. They had three sons born in Ontario, James b.abt 1855, Edward b. abt 1857, and William b. abt 1860. They moved to Chilliwack BC, and are listed on the 1881 cesus. Edward married Catherine Tidy McKeever June 6 1886. They had at least 4 children: Frederick P., Eva (who married Boling), Sarah (who died at 3yrs),Tidy (who married Donald John McIntosh) and Greta (who married James Laird Carmichael).
I would be interested in hearing from others related to any of these.
