In looking for my own John McAlonan (b. ca 1799 Kilraight Antrim Ireland) I have found a younger John McAlonan living in Fond Du Lac County, WI. He was born in Ireland ca 1828, father was named Archibald. John m.1.Nancy, m.2. Anne in 1860. The children of this John were: James, Charles and Margaret. In indexes the surname sometimes appears spelled as McLonan or McLonen. Does anyone else belong to this John McAlonan or this Archibald?
