My Grandfather Philip McAndrew and Grandmother Jennie (McGonigal) McAndrew raised 10 children in Lost Nation Ursula Philip Raymond Clement Rose Marie Mary Paul Robert John I do not know my Great Grandfathers name but I do know that he (or perhaps his father) left a wife and ? children in County Mayo and came to the States remarried and had 4 sons. Apparently this type of bigamy was not uncommon back in the day. If the wife didn't want to immigrate and the husband did he simply took off. Followups: Re: William McAndrew?
