Hi Debra,
Your info on McAuley raised an old question that I had researched in the past. I was searching for information on Mary Jane McAuley who was born May 20, 1837 in Armoy, county of Atrim, Ireland. She was originally married to Frederick Smith who died in the Civil War and she later married John Minderman and died January 1914 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She came to Kenosha about 1862. Let me know if there is any possible connection.
