Nice family photo of John & Ella McCabe and 3 sons found in a second-hand store. Hand written on the border: "Aunt Ella & Uncle John McCabe and their three sons. In back, Joe on the right, Rob on the left & Marvin in front. Marvin killed at 18 yrs in San Pedro Harbor working." Guessing the photo was taken about or after 1910 as Marvin looks about 5 y.o. John & Ella (from a few quick searches) show up on 1900 Illinois census (w/o Marvin or other sons, but does list a Romana McCabe); 1910 & 1920 Kansas census w/ Marvin. The mounting cardboard is approx. 9" by 14" but the photo itself is about an 8" oval. Mounting cardboard was cut down in the past.... If you want/need it I will mail it to you. Goes to the first request received (though I have scanned it, too).
