I am looking for information on my great graet grandmother
Mary Delitha McCauley. I know that she was born in October
1880 in Randolph County West Virginia. Her father was Adam McCauley who later married a woman whose last name was Hammons. Her mother was Elizabeth Taylor who was a cousin of Adam. No one seems to know what happened to Elizabeth. I've been told that around the time of Mary's birth, Adam was about 16 years of age and Elizabeth was much older with teenage sons of her own. I've been told that she was raised in Webster County, West Virginia. I can't seem to find out who raised her and how she ended up in Webster County. She married Samuel Ison Garvin and raised a family in Webster County and she died in 1964 in Alliance Ohio. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
