MC CAULLEY—Georgia E. “Peg” McCauley, 88, formerly of 224 Montoe St. and Luther Center, died at 10:15 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, 1991, at Community South Hospital, Indianapolis, Ind., after a sudden illness. Born Sept. 2, 1903, in Stockton, daughter of Samuel A. and Nancy VanVleck. Lived 72 years in Rockford, coming from Byron. Married to Albert C. McCauley in Belvidere on Jan. 13, 1932; he died in 1980. Homemaker. Attended First Church of the Brethren. Attended Byron schools. Survivors include a daughter, Patricia (Jerry) Schultz, Greenwood, Ind.; four grandsons, Douglas Albright, Mesa, Ariz., David (Patti_ Albright, Morristown, Tenn.; Mark (Linda) Rockwell, Rockford; Dennis Rockwell, Greenwood, Ind.; a granddaughter, Denise Schultz, Greenwood; six great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by brothers, James and Harmon VanVleck, and a sister, Lillian VanVleck.
Services at 11 a.m. Monday at Ulrey Funeral Home – Chapel of the chimes, 7000 W. State St., with the Rev. Raymer Cox, pastor of First Church of the Brethren, officiating. Burial in Willwood Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Memorials to First Church of the Brethren.
