Mary Lou,
thanks for replying. I had found the Haltom City in the Atlas and thought maybe it could be the same as the Halton could also by Haltom but I didn't know about the possibility of a body of water north of Fort Worth which would have had a ferry. I have some of the Jonathan Sheppard historic maps for the southern states but not Texas. I will look into this further and let you know. My email is kelleybandg@aol.com. Thanks again. Brenda
