Dear Chris,
I am Donald H. Mccordick originally of East Bridgewater Massachusetts, I currently Live in DeLand Florida but am getting ready to relocate to West Yarmouth Massachusetts in the next few months. Adam McCordick was My Great Grand Father also. Unfortunately I know little to nothing about the family tree and really do not understand why the family didn't keep better contacts. My Grandfather Was Henry McCordick, son of Adam and My father was Donald F. McCordick who is deceased. I am 56 years old and was born in Brockton Massachusetts, May 12 1953.
Wish I knew more as I have so many questions myself to why the family got so seperated. My understanding is that Adam was Catholic and left the church and the family basically became Protestant. I am not sure if that had something to do with the family seperation or not as back then religion could easily seperate a family.
