Wow, a very quick response from my dad in Ireland!

"Hugh came back to Ireland in 1977 or 1978 stayed 2 years then went back to England to his brother Michael in Birmingham. I think he died in 1979."

I'm sorry, this is all they know. Maybe Michael's family in Birmingham will have more info. My problem is that I don't have a Michael as a sibling for John and Hugh? This could well be a mistake so please don't upset your mum with this info until I can find out more. Marion.
