Hi,
If this is the correct John and Birdie McGough, I am the great-grand daughter. My mother is the daughter of "Bud" McGough whose real name was Desmond. We don't know anything about a first son named Herbert. Stanley was supposed to be the first son and he was born in 1901, christened at Pierre, SD. John settled near Ernfold, SK and Bud was born in 1911. I look forward to hearing where you fit into this family.
