Caroline Inez Westbrook and William James McGough

I am currently researching my McGough and Westbrook families who migrated to Eastland County, Texas. Yesterday, I found a funeral notice for my great-great grandmother, Caroline Inez (Westbrook) McGough and noticed that her date of death is different from all the family trees online. The funeral notice that my father saved from the funeral reflects her date of death as 07 Feb. 1952 not 15 Oct. 1961. In fact, I recently found some photographs taken of Ma McGough before she passed away in 1952.

This is a transcription from the photocopy of the funeral notice exactly as it is typed. It appears that it does have a typo for her daughters husband's name. Her daughter is referred to Mrs. I. J. Rash but it is my understanding that her husband was Thomas Jefferson Rash. This T. J. Rash "Uncle Baldy" was the brother of Sam Rash who was married to the other McGough sister. Please let me know of any other corrections or any additional information is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your help.
Cheryl Middleton Lowery
