Ms. Buck; Am interested in your McKay book. My Elizabeth might be of McKay line. She named one son Beason Overstreet Meriwether, another William Dale. Her first son was Robert and first daughter Nancy. Feel those may be names of her grandparents. Just found out that Maxcey was also spelled McKay. Her first husband was William Brown. She married him 1825 , then married James Meriwether 1830. They all from Jefferson, Ky.. Would like to hear from you. Don't know her parents. Always wondered where Beasons and Overstreet fitted into her family. thank you, Joan H. Meriwether
