My GG Grandmother was Ann McKay b. Abt. 1826 daughter of Munro McKay and Margaret McKenzie. Ann McKay married William Shearer Jun 1849 Nairn, Nairn, Scotland
She died 24 April 1905 Nairn, Nairn. Widow of William Shearer as a pauper in the Poor House. As far as I can make out the Informant was Wm. Munro
Any help on my McKay family would be very much appreciated!
