Searching for any information on the family of Samuel Mackey/Mckay (spouse unknown) who was in Burke Co., NC soon after 1800; his daughter Ann (b. ca.1770) married William Wilson (b. ca.1780), both said by their son Samuel C. Wilson in the 1850 NC census to have been born in PA. Ann and William Wilson were divorced in Burke Co., NC in 1840 and neither of them appear in the 1850 NC census and are assumed to have died before that date. I would be glad to share information on Ann (Mackey/Mckay) and William Wilson's son Robert E. Wilson and his many descendants.
