Searching the 1881 census for Queens County I found my Great Grandfather George B Mackay. I have been unable to find who his parents are. On the same census page there are several other McKays that may be his brothers and/or sisters. Christy McKay, born 1825,Catharine Mckay b 1826 or 1831; John Mckay 1859, Robert McKay b 1831. They are all born in PEI. Living with John is an Elizabeth Mckay who was born in 1791 in Scotland. I am guessing Elizabeth may be the mother.
