I do not have any information on Alexander Mckee. I do believe he was a Tory. I have really been working with the families around the Mckees of Pittsburgh such as:
1. Col John Gibson the commander of Ft Pitt who was married
to Chief John Logan's sister.
2. Chief Logan and the Yellow Creek Massacre.
3. Elizabeth McKee married to Samuel Sinclair
4. Gen Arthur St Clair and his family including Louisa St
Clair and her connection to Chief Joseph Brant's son.
5. Gen St Clairs daughter Elizabeth who's family was married
into Lew Wallace's family by DAR records.
6. General David Wallace and his son Lew Wallace who wrote
the book Ben Hur
7. St Clair Denny who was a classmate at West Point with
David Wallace.
8. Major Michael Myers who worked for Col William H
Crawford who was killed in in Western Ohio in retaliation
to the Yellow Creek massacre.
9 Alexander Hamilton and his aid Caption Meriwether Lewis
and the Whiskey Rebellion of Pittsburgh of 1794.
10 The Lewis and Clark Expedition of 1803 out of Pittsburgh.
11 The Grundy family of Felix Grundy and his neice who was
married into the Myers family.
12 Martin Van Buren related to the Myers family through his
wife Hanna Hoes.
13 President Andrew Jackson and his Vice President Martin
Van Buren.
14 General Thomas Stonewall Jackson and Dr McGuire.
