John McKee married Martha, widow of Frederick Saunders, 16 Apr 1823 in Chatham Co., GA. They show up in the 1850 census of Covington Co., AL. Does anyone have a record of them between 1823 and 1850? Martha had 3 children born about 1814 to 1820 when she married John and they had a son, Gauley born about 1828 in GA. The 1850 census also lists a Lydia Mckee born about 1823 in NC who I assume is Gauley's wife although she may be his sister.
