Does anyone have any info on Samuel McKee d. 1836 in St. Louis? Wife Margaret and Son Robert ? Any descendants on line? Robert was captain in the union army from Illinois and his wife was Mary whose parents were both born in N.Hampshire. Both Samuel and his wife were born in Ireland.There may be a family connection with Gauley McKee from Alabama who served in confederate army and was capatured and taken to Forth Douglas and rescued by Robert when Gauley was stricken with smallpox. Any leads greatly appreciated.
