I can't give you a satisfactory answer. I can tell you that Thomas McKim,Esq; John Evans, Esq.; Warren Buckingham, John Boen, Thomas Davis, John Davis, Thomas Jones, Joseph Gardner, Abel Davis, Daniel Davis, William Eyron, Joseph Price, Lewin German, Benjamin Jones, Alexander McKim, Hannah Davis, Rachel Davis, Elenor DAvis, Esther Davis, Agens McKim, et. al. are shown as listed members of the London Tract Church which was located in Chester Co., PA. Whether the listed folks also included members of the Welsh Tract Church in Pencader Hundred, New Castle Co., DE is questionable.
I descend from Abel Davis, s/o Benjamin & Hannah Davis of Loudoun Co., VA. The Abel Davis on London Tract Church may have been the Abel DAvis, cooper, of East Nantmeal Twp., Chester Co., PA. Abel DAvis, b. about 1764, s/o Benjamin & Hannah was also a cooper. My attempt to prove a realtionship between the two Abel Davises fails.
I also descend from John & Margaret Huffman via their daughter, Mary Huffman who m. Abel Davis who established in Monongalia Co., VA. John Huffman was b. 1741 in Berks Co., PA and d. about 1790 according the Huffman researchers. In researching Loudoun Co., I found the WILL of a John Huffman, D:252, 1792. John's heirs include Margaret, his wife and 3 sons Phillip, Peter & Henry. Execution of John Huffman's will as witnessed by Thomas Aden, James McKim, John Davis, Mr. Hutchinson and Alex. McKim (probably neighbors) on 7 June 1792 & proved 10 Sept 1792. I believe that John who d. 1792 in Loudoun Co was the father of Mary & Elizabeth who m. Abel Davis & William Smith as shown in other message.
