Carolyn:

Try this: on Google search line enter History of Chester Co., PA with Genealogical & Biographical Sketches. Scroll down a few paragarphs and you will see "London Tract". Also see Chester Co. GenForum messages 1043, 1091, 1352, 2091 & 1092. Abel Davis in 1770 joined the London Tract Church. He may have been the East Nantmeal Twp., Chester Co., PA cooper. London Tract was part of the Welsh Tract Church of Pencader Hundred so the gongregation I think lists both London Tract & Welsh Tract members. This is where I found Alexander & James McKim.
This Abel Davis may have been the Abel Ichabald Davis, b.1738 that is shown as the s/o Benjamin & Hannah Davis in K Grimes WorldConnect Project RE: Benjamin & Hannah Davis. That Abel Davis was not the Abel b. 1764 s/o Benjamin & Hannah, also a cooper who m. Mary Huffman and migrated to Monongalia Co., VA where their daughter Mary Davis, b. 1790 who m. Enoch Current 2 Apr 1807 and d. 30 Aug 1859, in what became Taylor Co., WV.
