I did some diggn but I have no idea where you got that a Joseph Franklin McKinney lived and died in Lamar Co., Tx.
If he died in 1906 then he would have been on the 1900 Census for that county and I couldn't find anyone by that name in Lamar Co. Now on the other hand I tried to do a look up on the children you reported and since girls are harder to trace I concentrated on the boys. There was a William Thomas McKinney born on 9 Sept. 1895 in Pilot Grove, Grayson Co., Tx. to a Joseph McKinney who was married to a Mary E. but they don't fit what your describing. Unless you and provide the link to how you got to where you are, I don't think anyone can help you. please provide how you got to joseph and maybe I can help...otherwise...good luck
