Homer V McMickle was my Great Grandfather. Born in Ga. His father was William D McMickle and mother Susan. Prior to Civil War they moved to Jasper Co,Ms. Homer served in civil war. They moved to Texas after civil war. He served as Post Master in Tyler Tx. He had several children. Sam was one of his children. My Grandfather was Joseph, others Falby, Lee, Ellen.
