I'm hoping to hear from someone who may see this note. Do any of the names look familar? Thanks in advance for your time, reply, and insight... There were 10 grandchildren of Michael O'Shaughnessy and Elizabeth McPartland Shaughnessy who were married on October 16, 1889 at St. Stephen Church in Worcester. I possess a photo copy of the hand written record inscribed for their ceremony at that time. A friend of my cousin (Father Thirburse Millott) is the pastor there. There were 12 children born to them. One of the oldest was named Thomas and died quite early as an infant. The other 11 are: Katherine, George (my grandfather), William, Anna, Mary, John, Jimmy, a later Thomas, Elizabeth, and the youngest, the twins Gertrude and Margaret. They were born between 1890 and 1909. Mary, Gertrude and Jimmy never married and lived together for their entire lives. My grandfather (George) married a Mabel Butler of Worcester and they had twins and my father, John Joseph. I don't know if there were other children. Back to the 11: Kay married and had no children. Bill married and had no children. Elizabeth married and died in child birth in 1942 delivering Sandra. Sandra was brought up by Anna who married and had one daughter of her own (Ann Marie), a step daughter of her husband whose first wife had died (Helen O'Donnell) and she brought up her sister Elizabeth's daughter (Sandy) as her own. Margaret married Thirburse Millott and they had four sons: Raymond, Thirburse, Thomas and William (who died as a 10 month old infant in January of 1950). John married and had two children Betty Ann married Nanof (three sons Bobby, Jimmy and Tommy whom I met when I was east years ago) and Jackie Shaughnessy who has two sons Paul and Neil. Tom married and had two daughters Marion and Dorothy (Dot is deceased since 1996). I know a lot more but have run out of time. This gives you a two generation synopsis. That's all for now... Best Regards, Shawn
