The police Michael McPartland was married to Ann, the sister of my grandfather, Miles Francis McPartland, a horseshoer, Democrat, and nationa director of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, who was born 1864 and died in 1831.
* Various versions of the name are listed because I have found that my McPartlands were sometimes known and recorded as: McFarlan, McFarland, McFadden, McPartlin, McPhartland, McPartlind, MacPartland, or McParlan. It has been a real adventure finding them. I do NOT have the complete directories, only the pages that relate to the families that I am researching, Desmond, McMahon, and Mc(as above).
