Have very little information to go on, but it's a start. I'm not close to my father, and my grandparents have very little records. Most of what I've been able to get out of them is bits and pieces from when I was a teenager.
My father is Keith Lee Meikle, b. 6/2/1949 in Sedgwick Co., Kansas.
His parents are Kenneth Alfred Meikle, b. 1919 in Conway Springs, Kansas, and Edna Lee Miller, b. 1919.
Kenneth's father's name was Keith Meikle. Keith was a triplet.
Now, going by memory, the oldest Keith built the first home on Meikle St. in Wichita.
Edna is 1/4 Cherokee and her mother died a few years ago on the reservation and was around 105 years old.
My father also has a sister and a brother. The sister has 1 boy, David. The brother's relationship is a bit fuzzy. If I remember right, he was Edna's son from a previous marriage (?) and Kenneth adopted him. Last I heard, he lives in Texas somewhere. I think his name is Donald.
That is all I have at this point. I'm planning to make a trip this summer out to see my grandparents, but am told that there's little more that can tell me. Any help would be appreciated.
