Hi, my name is Anthony. I am researching my family tree and am looking for any information on my grandfather, Robert Jamieson Meikle.He was my mothers father and was married to Jane McCormick and lived in Glasgow, Scotland. they had two daughters, Evelyn (my mother) and Anne. Jane died in 1942. Robert joined the army and met a lady with whom he formed a relationship with. He moved to her in Liverpool and left behind his daughters who were adopted by their grandparents Daniel McCormick and Jane Marley.
I believe Robert had another family with his new wife and died in England around 1996, the same year his daughter Anne died.
Any information would be greatly appreciated
