My Father Joseph Mele has cousins that arrived in the early 1930'S with the last name of Mele - lost touch. My father's family is from either the Naples, Avellino or Campobasso area of Italy. They settled in the New Jersy area. His fathers name was Giuseppe M. Mele married Candida Pellosi in Italy and had 10 children. I hope this helps.
