Hi Michael,

Do you have any Pennsylvania Merrits in your database?
My gggggrandmother was Jemima V. Merit (the name was spelled Merit). She was born 1783 in Pennsylvania. She had a brother named Ephrim Merit. She married Abraham Eastwood 31 Oct 1808 in Hopkins County, Kentucky. Her brother Ephrim also lived in Hopkins County. Family tradition has it that Jemima was Indian.
