I am the great great granddaughter of Hannah Amanda (Mevis) Greenwood who was born in NY in 1844 and moved with her family to Lansing, MI from NY in 1847. Hannah Amanda's father was O.H.(Oliver Hiram) Mevis b. NY and her mother was Katherine "Pola" Stafford. O.H. ran a bakery in Lansing for a number of years. He and his wife had 10 children including Daniel Stafford Mevis, Oliver H., Jr. and John H. (all 3 in Civil War). Looking for other children and relatives of O. H. Mevis. 10350 Inwood Road, Osceola, IN 46561
