Do you have any information on Elizabeth Abigail MEVIS who married 1st a WARD then a GARLAND then a BISBEE? I believe she was married to James GARLAND and resided in Sherburne, Chenago co. NY in the 1840's.She may have had a son named James GARLAND b. in Shurburne,NY in 1844, a daughter named Emma GARLAND who was born in 1842 and a daughter named Lillian. I'm hoping someone can confirm that she also had a daughter named Effie GARLAND b. 1841. I'm looking for the parents of Effie Corenthia GARLAND, who according to her orbituary, was born in Sherburne, Chenago county, NY in 1841. She married James P. JOHNSTON in 1861 McLean co. ILL.
