I went back to Lincoln County Courthouse today and found a motherlode of a deed. Susannah Lantz, widow of George Lantz, and children are selling one hundred acres of land to Henry Hoke. Named as sellers are: Jacob Michael and Anna his wife, Jacob Hollman and Elizabeth his wife, Barbara Hollman widow of (John? can't really read it) Hollman, Daniel Hollman and his wife Polly, hiers at law of George Lantz deceased. The deed is dated November 4, 1831 in Lincoln County, NC. The land is located on Howards Creek in Lincoln County.
