Peter Michael, Sr., 1806 Lincoln County, NC

Looking in the Lincoln County Courthouse it seems that Peter Michael, Sr. accumulated land in four separate deeds dating from 1806 to 1813. Later he sells, not gives, land to Peter Michael, Jr., Daniel Michael and Jacob Michael. He does not call them his sons in the deeds, but I still believe that these are Peter Michael, Sr.'s sons.
Conrad Michael who married Maria Sabina Hoke also comes to Lincoln County about this time. His father was Jacob Michael of York County, PA. There is some information about them in the Lincoln County Heritage Book. I have always thought that there was a connection, but could not find it. I still believe that there is.
On the 1790 York County, PA census Jacob Michael is listed on page 358 with one male over 16 and one female. Conrad Michael is listed on page 354 with one male over 16 and three females. Pettor Michael is listed on page 356 with one male over 16, six males under 16 and two females.
Since there is a Susannah Michael listed on the 1850 census living in the household of Peter Michael (Jacob and Anna Michael also live there) I am assuming she is Peter's grandmother, Jacob's mother (wife of Peter, Sr.). She is listed as being born in PA. Could she be Susannah Hoke, sister to Maria Sabina Hoke??
Speculating here. Any comments?
