James Michael (1781-1882) ? land grant on Buffalo Cr, Marion, WV?

I found reference to a 4,000 acre land grant to James Michael on the Seven Pine Branch of Buffalo Creek in Mannington, Marion(?), WV in a family history of the Yost family by Eleanor Yost Carter.

I do not find it in the Library of Virginia records. Does anyone have this information?

This James Michael 1781-1882, m Sarah Everly, and is a son of Paul Michael and Sarah Robinson.

I descend from James/Simeon/Joseph/George/Newton
